2011 Oregon / SW Washington BetterBricks Awards

Congratulations to the winners and finalists of the 2011 Oregon / SW Washington BetterBricks Awards.  A total of 13 green building professionals were recognized at the Hilton Portland the morning of February 11.  Kevin Kampschroer, Director of the Office of Federal High Performance Green Buildings for the U.S. General Service Administration (GSA), delivered the keynote address.  He discussed his experience in overseeing the green building program for GSA with a focus on energy efficiency.  Kevin also discussed the importance of including tenants in the decision-making process to get the best energy-saving and other resource-conserving results.  Download Kevin's PPT presentation here.
